Num 15:37 -38 And the YHVH spoke unto Moses, saying:

'Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them throughout their generations fringes in the corners of their garments, and that they put with the fringe of each corner a thread of blue. And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the YHVH, and do them; and that ye go not about after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go astray; that ye may remember and do all My commandments, and be holy unto your God.  I am the YHVH your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the YHVH your God.'

Welcome !

From the time we were commanded to wear Techelet to now is some 4500 years.

In that time there has been 2 major diasporas and the commandment of Ptil Techelet was lost for 1900 years. The art of dying was lost in 70 CE. The Romans commanded Israel that anyone wearing Techelet other than Caesar him self was to be put to death. Thus ending the blue fringe on Tzitzit, in 70 CE the snail disappeared from the Mediterranean sea. Recently in the past 65 years the Chillizon snail from the Mediterranean has returned. Interestingly it returned the very year Israel became a state. 1948. Now the art of placing the blue back on the Tzitzit has returned!

The fringe and Messiah Yeshua is tied together !

The fringe brings us to remember that the son of righteousness would arise with healing in his wings.

Messiah Yeshua did just that. Every where he went people of all kinds was just wanting to touch the hem of his Tallit. Mat 9:20 And see, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the tzitzit1 of His garment. Footnote: 1See “Tzitzit” - Explanatory Notes and Num. 15:37-41, Dt. 22:12. Mat 9:21 For she said to herself, “If I only touch His garment, I shall be healed.”

This is but a foot note of the history of the Techelet fringe.

We as believers in Yeshua Messiah, it is incumbent of us to wear them as a reminder of him and his atoning work at the cross. Weather you are Jewish or Gentile. You need the Tzitzit. After all if YHVH commanded us and Yeshua said if you love me keep my commandments. We should fulfill this commandment and Mitzvah in obedience to Yeshua and G-D the Father!
